Somerville Alderman At Large Debate

The Alderman At Large Debate, held at the Somerville Theatre on October 17, was sponsored by SCATV and "Greater Somerville." The candidates had an opportunity to give an opening statement, and respond to questions from panelists representing The Boston Globe, Somerville Journal, The Somerville News and Somerville Patch. The seven candidates for four Alderman-At-Large positions are Jack Conolly, Bruce Desmond, Todd Easton, Sean Fitzgerald, Michael Nionakis, Dennis Sullivan, and Bill White. Joe Lynch, Co-Host of "Greater Somerville" (Tuesdays at 7:30pm on Channel 3) was the moderator.

SCATV and Free Speech

A discussion about the role of public access TV in the community, and the importance of free speech for a strong democracy. Panelists are Wendy Blom, Executive Director of SCATV; Denise Provost, State Representative for Somerville; and Pat Garrity, SCATV Board President.

What the Fluff? Festival 2011

Somerville Community Access Television broadcast live from the festival from 4:00 to 5:00pm. Hosted by Chuck Interrante, the program includes interviews, history of Fluff, and shots of the lively Festival that took place on September 24, 2011 in Union Square, Somerville, MA. The Festival was produced by Union Square Main Streets.
